# Download for Mac

> Download the signed Cutfac Mac app with the license key from your purchase, then add the key in the app so updates install themselves.

Enter the license key from your purchase email to get the signed Mac app. The same key keeps the app up to date.

## Install it

1. **Open the disk image.** Drag Cutfac into the Applications folder.
2. **Open Cutfac.** Open it from Applications. It's signed, so macOS opens it without warnings.
3. **Add your license key.** Choose Cutfac › License Key… and paste the key. Updates then download and install themselves.

## Where to find your license key

Polar, our payment provider, emails the key right after checkout. You can also find it any time in the customer portal by signing in with the email you paid with. [Open the customer portal](https://polar.sh/wyverselabs/portal)

## Requirements

A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later). Claude Code or Codex and the tools listed on the features page are installed separately.
