Drop in GIFs and get PNG stills for editors, slides and forms that want PNG. Transparent areas stay clear, and nothing leaves your browser.

Runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

## How to use it

1. **Add GIFs.** Drop one or several. An animated GIF gives its first frame.
2. **Check the list.** Each PNG shows its size in pixels and the file size before and after.
3. **Download.** Save a single PNG, or all of them in one ZIP.

## What carries over

A GIF frame holds up to 256 colors, and each pixel is either clear or solid. PNG holds all of that exactly, so the still looks the same and its transparent areas stay transparent.

## Animated GIFs

A PNG holds one image, so an animated GIF gives its first frame. To keep the motion in a format that plays everywhere, convert the GIF to MP4 instead; to shrink the GIF itself, compress it.
