Drop in a photo, pick the tile shape and the number of rows, and download the tiles numbered in the order to post them. The photo never leaves your browser.

Runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

## How to use it

1. **Add a photo.** A wide or detailed one splits best. The middle is cut to the grid's shape.
2. **Pick the shape and rows.** Match the tile shape to the posts on your profile, and choose one to four rows of three.
3. **Download and post in order.** The ZIP holds the tiles numbered 01 upwards. Post 01 first and the highest number last.

## Why the order matters

Your profile shows three posts to a row with the newest at the top left. So the tile for the bottom-right corner has to go up first and the top-left tile last. The numbers on the preview and in the file names follow that order.

Post all the tiles one after another. Anything posted in between shifts the grid out of line, and pinned posts stay at the top of your profile above it, so unpin them while the grid should show.

## Tile shape and size

Instagram's Help Center lists post shapes from 1.91:1 to 3:4, shared at up to 1080 pixels wide, but it doesn't give the shape the profile grid shows. Look at your own profile and pick the matching tile: 1:1 for squares, 4:5 or 3:4 for taller posts.

Each tile is saved at 1080 pixels wide: 1080 × 1080, 1080 × 1350 or 1080 × 1440. A three-row grid at 3:4 needs a photo 3240 pixels wide and 4320 high to stay sharp; a smaller photo is enlarged.

## Questions

### Is my photo uploaded?

No. The photo is cut into tiles in your browser.

### Which tile goes first?

Number 01, the bottom-right tile. The newest post sits at the top left of a profile, so the grid is posted from the end backwards.

### Which tile shape should I pick?

The shape your profile shows posts in. Instagram's Help Center doesn't state it, so check your own profile and match it.

### How many posts does a grid take?

Three per row: 3, 6, 9 or 12 posts for one to four rows.

### Can I make a swipeable panorama instead?

That's a carousel: one post you swipe through. The Instagram carousel tool on this site sizes slides for it.
